2023

New School Building Construction Started

In 2023 we extended Utkarsha Learning Center from 5th standard to 8th standard and thus the number of children enrolled for the academic year 2023-24 increased gradually. This growth prompted the initiation of construction for a new school building to accommodate increased school children.

2022

School registration

After several attempts of getting school registration permission from the government of Karnataka, we succeeded in 2022. It is one of the remarkable years for Utkarsha, our school Utkarsha Learning Center was registered under the Karnataka education board.

2018

Establishment of Utkarsha

The establishment of the Utkarsha Learning Center specifically designed for HIV-positive and underprivileged children is a noble and important initiative of Mahesh Foundation. In 2018 we started a school Utkarsha Learning Center with an aim to provide free skill-based education to HIV-positive and underprivileged children.

2019

Moved to new school premises

Initially, the school started with the least number of children in a small rented building, moving to a new building was an exciting and significant event for children, teachers, and the entire Utkarsha team. In 2019 we established our school building.
